OOC: In an effort to not lose sight of the whole World's Finest Detective thing, this post will follow active cases in the world of MOM.

Information can be in the form of network posts, witness reports, news articles etc. and can be stored in the batcomputer either by direct entry, or by those who don't have access, filing the necessary reports and giving them to Bruce/Alfred/Robin etc.

Closed cases will be marked as such, but only assuming IC knowledge of them being closed is gathered.

Details: Children (and some adults) were kidnapped to an unknown facility later discovered to be in the geography outside Anchorage, Alaska, where they were detained for the purpose of testing their abilities against various anti-ability devices. Non-combatant kidnapped were used for the purpose of convincing others to display their abilities.

Presumed purpose: Weapons research
Suspect(s): Foreign sources, particularly Russian involvement suspected
Reason for suspicion: Soviet involvement in shuttle disaster and further the present geopolitical situation. America, with the porter bringing in people again, has unbalanced the playing field, and foreign governments have strong reason to either develop a defense against imPorts or else find a way to procure them for themselves.

Sources: Charles Xavier claims to have interrogated a suspect, it may be worth finding out what he knows but not when Bruce finds out he's a telepath

Outlook: Investigating; there must be a paper trail, however children were returned after hero involvement.
