Details: The shuttle launched from Cape Canaveral containing 10 import astronauts experienced difficulties, and if not for the timely involvement of others on the scene would have surely ended in disaster.

Details: Children (and some adults) were kidnapped to an unknown facility later discovered to be in the geography outside Anchorage, Alaska, where they were detained for the purpose of testing their abilities against various anti-ability devices. Non-combatant kidnapped were used for the purpose of convincing others to display their abilities.

Presumed purpose: Weapons research
Suspect(s): Foreign sources, particularly Russian involvement suspected
Reason for suspicion: Soviet involvement in shuttle disaster and further the present geopolitical situation. America, with the porter bringing in people again, has unbalanced the playing field, and foreign governments have strong reason to either develop a defense against imPorts or else find a way to procure them for themselves.

Details: The doctors at De Chima swearing in are incredibly persistent. Their views of beauty are distorted toward transforming the people around them into almost identical figures, which is disturbing if not actually criminal. They are also responsible for the transformation of Harvey Dent, the workmanship of which can't be denied.

Reason for suspicion: N/A

Details: New drug 'Blue Sky' appeared recently on the streets. Suspect due to timing imPort involvement, but new drugs appear often, and while the chemical composition and expert refining of the crystals is, under investigation, an entirely new method for this world's drug trade, that doesn't preclude invention here under normal circumstances. Working up the ladder is proving difficult, even with my abilities. For some reason, perhaps exclusivity, dealers on the ground seem eager to protect their suppliers.

Suspect(s): Unknown, although drug trade has always attracted a certain kind of linchpin style criminal
Reason for suspicion: N/A

Details: Abductees or kidnapped citizens of variety of ages/creeds/dispositions/gender; government after SIX years (note seven is required for declaring that a missing person is dead), created cemetery of empty graves to mourn the missing.

Presumed motive: To develop abilities in non-imPorts?
Suspect(s): US government, Russian governments, aliens
Reason for suspicion: Power vacuum/desperation
