Details: Children (and some adults) were kidnapped to an unknown facility later discovered to be in the geography outside Anchorage, Alaska, where they were detained for the purpose of testing their abilities against various anti-ability devices. Non-combatant kidnapped were used for the purpose of convincing others to display their abilities.

Presumed purpose: Weapons research
Suspect(s): Foreign sources, particularly Russian involvement suspected
Reason for suspicion: Soviet involvement in shuttle disaster and further the present geopolitical situation. America, with the porter bringing in people again, has unbalanced the playing field, and foreign governments have strong reason to either develop a defense against imPorts or else find a way to procure them for themselves.

Sources: Charles Xavier claims to have interrogated a suspect, it may be worth finding out what he knows but not when Bruce finds out he's a telepath

Outlook: Investigating; there must be a paper trail, however children were returned after hero involvement.
